WeGovy Injection

1. Do not use if you:

   • Are allergic to semaglutide or any of the ingredients in WeGovy.
   • Have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (a type of thyroid cancer).
   • Have multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2).
   • Are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.

2. Consult a doctor before use if you:

   • Have a history of pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, or kidney disease.
   • Are taking other medications for diabetes, as WeGovy may lower blood sugar levels.
   • Have or are at risk of developing depression or suicidal thoughts.

3. Discontinue use and seek medical attention if:

   • You experience severe stomach pain, nausea, or vomiting (these may be signs of pancreatitis).
   • You notice a lump or swelling in your neck or have difficulty swallowing (this may indicate thyroid issues).
   • You experience symptoms of low blood sugar, such as dizziness, confusion, or fainting.

4. Keep out of reach of children: WeGovy is a prescription medication and should not be used by individuals for whom it is not prescribed.

5. Not for use in children: WeGovy has not been studied in individuals under 18 years of age and is not approved for pediatric use.

• Dosage:
  WeGovy is administered as a once-weekly injection, typically starting with a low dose and gradually increasing as directed by your healthcare provider. This allows the body to adjust and minimize side effects.

• Administration:
  Inject the medication under the skin (subcutaneous injection) in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. Rotate injection sites each week to avoid irritation. Your healthcare provider will guide you on how to self-administer the injections.

• Take with or without food:
  WeGovy does not need to be taken with meals, but you should maintain a healthy, reduced-calorie diet and exercise regularly for best results.

• Do not exceed the prescribed dose:
  Follow your healthcare provider’s instructions carefully. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible unless it’s close to your next scheduled dose. Never double up doses.

• Store properly:
  Keep WeGovy in the refrigerator until ready for use. Once opened, it can be kept at room temperature for a limited time, as advised by your healthcare provider.

Active Ingredient:
